Guest preacher and pastor Nate Praytor preaches this week (July 17, 2022) on Psalm 45. Writing about a wedding between Israel’s king and his bride, the psalmist presents a glimpse of the righteous King of Kings. The psalmist, through this marriage, presents a glimpse of the marriage of all marriages, Jesus Christ and his bride, the church. Pastor Nate encourages us as believers to see God’s royal legacy in our royal priesthood and to fix our eyes upon Jesus, the singular pursuit of our lives. The Scripture readings from our worship service were from Ephesians 5:22-33 and Revelation 19:6-9.
