A Song About Righteous Revenge

The Songs of Our Savior

Preached by: Phill Howell | 05/19/24

Scripture/Text: Psalm 94:1-23; The sermon creatively connects the University of Maryland's "Fear the Turtle" slogan with the message of Psalm 94, which assures God's people of His ultimate justice despite apparent delays. This sermon offers four lessons from Psalm 94: 1) the slow and steady nature of God's divine justice; 2) God's toughness against pride and foolish injustice; 3) God's compassionate heart; and 4) God's willingness to protect and stand up for the righteous, all the while drawing a parallel with the key features of turtles.
