Scripture/Text: Psalm 23:1-6; Embassy Church member Wes Swiderek wonderfully provides this week's sermon on Psalm 23, thoroughly demonstrating that the point of Psalm 23 is to be transformed by the hope and love of God. Wes also exposits Ezekiel 34 and John 10 to illustrate two main things: 1) the shepherd theme in Psalm 23 along with the Old Testament and 2) how Jesus applied this metaphor to himself in the New Testament. Although there are many wicked shepherds (rulers) in the Bible, Jesus Christ is the good shepherd who brings victory by his death and who brings deliverance for himself and for believers by resurrection!
