Act 5: The Healing of God's House
Acts: Our Church HIStory
Scripture/Text: Acts 3:1-10; This week, we jump back into our New Testament study of Acts, where the miraculous healing of a crippled man leads to a powerful sermon about Jesus. In Acts 3:1-10, a lame man expects silver and gold, but the apostles give him something far greater—the powerful presence of Jesus Christ. Likewise, the crowds witness wonders, yet they still need to hear the word of God preached in order to truly believe. This sermon reminds us that while we may lack worldly wealth, we have the greatest gift to offer: the name of Jesus, which alone brings true healing and salvation.
