Advent Is God's Master Plan
Stand Alone Sermons
Scripture/Text: Isaiah 49:5-6; Jesus Christ, the Light of God's Salvation, shines forth for us. — Isaiah 49:5-6 invites to meditate on the ages-long desire and plan of the Lord to redeem not just His people Israel, but all the peoples to the ends of the earth, through His Servant Israel, who is also at the same time, the Lord. The advent season celebrates the fulfillment of this plan in Jesus Christ, who is both Israel and Lord, and calls us to join Him as lights of salvation in this dark world.
