Scripture/Text: Matthew 10:34-42; This week's message finishes the last section of Jesus' sermon about missions. All through Matthew 10, Jesus is giving his disciples instructions about what it will be like when they are sent out to announce the kingdom of God. This week's message considers three big ideas from Matthew 10: 1) The Prince of Peace Causes Division, Even Among Families; 2) The Giver of Life Calls Us To Die, Even Death on A Cross; and 3) The Reward of the Righteous Is Free, Even Though It Was Costly.
