This week's sermon comes from the third and final parable that Jesus gives in response to a question, "By what authority do you do these things?" The day before Jesus cleansed the temple and pronounced judgment on the current religious leaders. Their displeasure is revealed by their questioning him the following the day. Jesus responds to them by telling three stories. The story we look at today is about how the kingdom of heaven is like a king who invites his people to his son's wedding party. The big idea of this week's message is that all who respond to God's become the chosen people of God.
