Scripture/Text: Acts 2:1-13; On Pentecost Sunday we consider from Acts 2 how the Holy Spirit empowers the church to be Christ's witnesses to the ends of the earth. Without God's presence in us, we cannot accomplish His mission. In our divided, broken, and hurting world, we need, more than ever, to be reminded of God's personal presence that brings new life and unity to our fractured world.
