Scripture/Text: Philippians 1:27 - 2:18; The big idea for this weeks message is that there is only one political position that results in unity. That political position is that Jesus Christ is Lord! When Jesus is our lord and we live as worthy citizens of his kingdom, then we will work out salvation by considering others more significant than ourselves. We will take a position of humility like Jesus Christ took as he died on the cross for our sins. Therefore, the only political position that actually brings about unity is the position of Jesus our king and reflecting his humility.
