Scripture/Text: 1 Peter 1:6-9; The summary of this sermon is that God's elect greatly rejoice even during the grief of our exile because of the greatness of our salvation. In this sermon, we examine the text of 1 Peter 1:6-9 and how 1) God's elect greatly rejoice; 2) Even during the grief of our exile; and 3) Because of the greatness of our salvation. In sum, the gospel is the root of our joy and all of Christian living.
