Scripture/Text: Acts 12:1-25; This week's message from the book of Acts is our final message in our 10-week series through Acts 8-12. In Acts 12, we see Jesus' power perfected in weakness. Whether we are considering James' martyrdom, Peter's miraculous prison escape, or Herod's humiliating downfall, Jesus' resurrection shines through this story. This message is anchored by one little Greek word teleo, “It is finished,” in order to show how Acts 12 teaches us that Christ has already accomplished the decisive victory over Satan, death, and every earthly power. No persecution, prison, or politician can stop the risen King from finishing His work.
