Scripture/Text: Psalm 135; This week's message from Psalm 135 reminds us that God's people are called to praise Him because He has rescued us from idolatry and revealed His goodness and greatness. The psalm shows us our responsibility to praise, the many reasons to praise, the emptiness of idols, and the decision each of us must make to give God glory. Unlike powerless idols, the Lord is living, sovereign, and faithful. The Lord choose His people, delivered them, and saved them through Jesus Christ. Through this Psalm and sermon we are invited to turn from false gods and lift our voices in praise to the one true God who is worthy of all honor and worship.
